Passion Ignited

At an early age, I felt at home when I put on my older brother’s football pads and helmet. I played many different sports growing up, but the pace, competition, and brotherhood of football hooked me. Although I was small for my age, I was quick and was determined to be great. I would not be where I am today without the help of my parents, family members, and coaches providing every opportunity for me to succeed.

Early Success

During my junior year of high school, my coach, Jeremy Hill, asked me to switch from receiver to corner. This was a pivotal moment in my career and from that time I have worked to become an elite defensive back. With Coach Hill’s guidance, our team was led to winning three back-to-back state championships for Orem High School.

I have worked closely with former BYU running back, Will Snowden and former BYU corner, Robertson Daniel. By working with them, I dropped my 40 time and have continued to increase my skills as a defensive back.

Reaching Collegiate Goals

In 2020, I spent my first collegiate year playing corner at Utah State University. After our head coach resigned and the season was cut short, I entered the transfer portal and returned home to play for Brigham Young University.

In my first year with BYU in 2021, I was utilized as a Nickel back and then finished the season starting at safety. The season was highlighted by back-to-back interceptions at Georgia Southern, winning the “You Got Mossed” Award, and being honored as a Freshman All-American.

Last season, 2022, I started the season playing at corner, sharing time with senior players, but was then moved back to Nickel during our 5-game win streak. My season was highlighted by helping beat Boise State through a pass breakup and stopping SMU’s two-point conversion at the New Mexico Bowl to secure our win.

I am looking forward to the 2023 season and our team's move to the big 12!
